A quick and easy frozen margarita recipe featuring frozen peaches and mangoes blended with tequila, lime juice, and simple syrup. Perfect for parties and casual gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups (450 g) frozen peaches, sliced and unsweetened
  • 2 cups (300 g) frozen mango chunks
  • 1 cup (240 ml) tequila blanco
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) triple sec or orange liqueur
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) fresh lime juice (about 45 limes)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) simple syrup, adjust to taste
  • 1 to 2 cups (240 to 480 ml) ice cubes
  • Coarse salt for rimming glasses (optional)
  • Lime wedges and peach slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pour coarse salt onto a small plate. Rub a lime wedge around the rims of margarita glasses, then dip rims into the salt. Set aside to dry.
  2. Squeeze 4 to 5 fresh limes to get 1/2 cup (120 ml) fresh lime juice.
  3. Add frozen peaches and frozen mango chunks into a high-powered blender.
  4. Pour in tequila blanco, triple sec, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup.
  5. Add 1 to 2 cups ice cubes depending on desired thickness.
  6. Pulse blend on high for 1 to 2 minutes until smooth and slushy, scraping down sides if needed.
  7. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more simple syrup if desired. If too thick, add a splash more tequila or lime juice and blend briefly.
  8. Pour into prepared glasses and garnish with lime wedges and peach slices. Serve immediately.

Notes

If making ahead, blend all ingredients except ice and freeze in an airtight container. Blend again with ice before serving. Use fresh lime juice for best flavor. Adjust simple syrup to taste. Rim glasses with salt for enhanced flavor. For a non-alcoholic version, omit tequila and triple sec and add orange juice or sparkling water.
