A simple, no-cook charcuterie board designed for two people, featuring brie, aged cheese, salami, fig jam, honey, and nuts. It requires no heat or stress, focusing on intention and flavor balance.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 small wheel of Brie or Camembert, room temperature
  • 2 ounces aged Cheddar or Gouda, cubed or sliced
  • 2 ounces Salami or Prosciutto, folded or rolled
  • 2–3 tablespoons Fig Jam
  • 1 tablespoon Honey (wildflower or clover)
  • Small handful of Walnuts or Almonds, roughly chopped
  • 6–8 Crackers or slices of Sourdough bread
  • Few Grapes, halved
  • Few sprigs of Fresh Thyme or Rosemary (optional)

Instructions

  1. Take the Brie or Camembert out of the fridge at least 30 minutes before serving to reach room temperature.
  2. Place the soft cheese wheel on the board. Cut the aged Cheddar or Gouda into cubes or thin slices and arrange them around the soft cheese, leaving space between items.
  3. Fold the salami or prosciutto slices loosely into rosettes or simple folds and place them near the cheese.
  4. Scatter the chopped walnuts or almonds around the board. Place halved grapes in small clusters.
  5. If using bread, tear sourdough into rustic pieces rather than slicing neatly.
  6. Spoon the fig jam into a small dish or create a small pool on the board.
  7. Drizzle the honey over the cheese and the jam.
  8. Garnish with a sprig of thyme or rosemary.

Notes

Ensure cheese is at room temperature for best flavor. Do not overcrowd the board; leave negative space for visual appeal. Add honey and jam right before serving to prevent crackers from getting soggy. If using a wooden board, wash with warm water and mild soap, then dry immediately.
