A quick and easy Halloween punch made with just three ingredients: lime sherbet, lemon-lime soda, and pineapple juice. Ready in five minutes, it’s perfect for parties and kid-friendly.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 liter lemon-lime soda (like Sprite or 7-Up)
  • 1 pint lime sherbet
  • 2 cups pineapple juice
  • Optional: green food coloring, gummy worms or plastic spiders, dry ice

Instructions

  1. Soften the sherbet: Take the lime sherbet out of the freezer and let it sit on the counter for about 5 minutes until soft enough to scoop.
  2. Pour the soda into your pitcher or punch bowl. Let the bubbles settle for a few seconds.
  3. Add the pineapple juice and stir gently with a long-handled spoon.
  4. Scoop in 4 to 5 generous scoops of softened sherbet. Do not stir yet.
  5. Stir slowly until the sherbet blends into the soda and juice, creating a creamy, frothy texture with tiny bits of sherbet still visible.
  6. Taste and adjust: add more sherbet for sweetness or more soda for fizz if desired.
  7. Serve immediately in cups or let guests ladle their own. Best within 30 minutes.

Notes

For best results, keep soda cold and add sherbet just before serving. Do not over-stir. For a dairy-free version, use coconut milk ice cream instead of sherbet. For an adult version, add 1 cup of vodka or white rum. Always handle dry ice safely if using.
