This easy loaded turkey club wrap recipe is the perfect lunch idea, featuring crispy bacon, creamy avocado, and juicy turkey wrapped in a soft flour tortilla. It comes together in about 15 minutes and is a crowd-pleaser for busy families.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch size)
  • 1 pound deli-sliced turkey breast (oven-roasted or honey roasted)
  • 8 slices crispy cooked bacon (thick-cut)
  • 4 slices provolone cheese (or Swiss cheese)
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 2 cups fresh romaine lettuce (shredded or chopped into thin strips)
  • 1 large tomato (sliced thin and patted dry)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Pickle spears (for serving, optional)
  • Potato chips (for serving, optional)
  • Fresh fruit (for serving, optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon: Heat a large skillet over medium heat and lay the bacon strips in a single layer. Cook for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain and cool. Once cool enough to handle, break each strip in half.
  2. Prep the vegetables: While the bacon cooks, wash and dry the romaine lettuce, then shred it into thin strips. Slice the tomato into thin rounds, place them on a paper towel, and gently pat the tops dry. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and slice them lengthwise into thin strips. Season the avocado slices with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Warm the tortillas: If you have a gas stove, turn a burner to low heat and use tongs to warm each tortilla directly over the flame for about 15 seconds per side. If you have an electric stove, place the tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 20 seconds per side.
  4. Mix the spread: In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard. Stir until smooth and well combined. Spread about 1 tablespoon of this mixture evenly over each tortilla, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
  5. Layer the ingredients: On the bottom third of each tortilla (closest to you), layer the ingredients in this order: first the provolone cheese, then the turkey slices (fold them slightly for volume), followed by the bacon pieces, avocado slices, shredded lettuce, and finally the tomato slices. Do not overstuff.
  6. Roll the wraps: Fold the sides of the tortilla inward over the filling, then tightly roll from the bottom up, keeping the filling tucked in as you go. Place the wrap seam-side down on a plate or cutting board.
  7. Slice and serve: Using a sharp knife, slice each wrap in half diagonally. If packing for lunch, wrap each half tightly in parchment paper or plastic wrap. Serve immediately with pickle spears and chips on the side, if desired.

Notes

Do not skip drying the tomato slices to prevent sogginess. Let the turkey come to room temperature for about 10 minutes before assembling. For extra stability, toast the assembled wrap in a dry skillet for 2 minutes per side. Use a serrated knife to slice the wraps cleanly.
