Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese, sliced into cubes or triangles
  • 6 oz brie cheese, at room temperature
  • 4 oz goat cheese log, sliced into rounds
  • 4 oz salami, thinly sliced and folded into ribbons
  • 3 oz prosciutto, torn into rustic pieces
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1/2 cup chocolate-covered pretzels
  • 1/4 cup candy eyeballs (optional)
  • 1 cup red grapes, washed and separated into small clusters
  • 1 cup blackberries
  • 1 small orange, sliced into thin rounds
  • 1/2 cup baby carrots
  • 1 cup pretzel sticks
  • 1 cup pita chips or baguette slices
  • 1/2 cup cheese crackers
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs
  • Dried apricots or figs
  • Small bowl of honey or fig jam

Instructions

  1. Start with the cheese: Place brie in the center of the board. Arrange cheddar cubes and goat cheese rounds around it, spacing them out evenly.
  2. Add the meats: Fold salami into ribbons or roll into cylinders. Place in clusters near the cheeses. Tear prosciutto into rustic pieces and nestle between salami.
  3. Fill in with fruits and vegetables: Scatter grape clusters, blackberries, and orange slices around the board. Place baby carrots in a small pile near one edge.
  4. Add the crackers and pretzels: Arrange pretzel sticks in small bundles. Fan out pita chips or baguette slices in groups. Put cheese crackers in a small bowl or pile in a corner.
  5. Place the candy and sweets: Pour candy corn into a small bowl or scatter directly on the board. Add chocolate-covered pretzels and candy eyeballs in small clusters.
  6. Garnish and finish: Tuck fresh rosemary sprigs around the board. Drizzle honey over brie if using. Fill any empty gaps with extra crackers, grapes, or candy corn.

Notes

Let brie come to room temperature for best spreadability. For a vegetarian version, skip the meats and add more cheese varieties. For gluten-free, use gluten-free crackers and pretzels. Store leftovers separately: cheese and meats in fridge for 3-4 days, candy corn in cool dry place for up to 2 weeks.
