Creamy Peach Ice Cream

creamy peach ice cream recipe - featured image

A simple and delicious 3-ingredient frozen peach dessert that is creamy, refreshing, and easy to make without an ice cream maker.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups (600 grams) frozen peach slices
  • 1 cup (240 ml) cold heavy cream
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons granulated sugar (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Measure out 4 cups (600 grams) of frozen peach slices. No need to thaw them; break down large chunks slightly for easier blending.
  2. Combine frozen peaches, 1 cup (240 ml) cold heavy cream, 2 to 3 tablespoons granulated sugar (adjust to taste), and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract if using in a blender.
  3. Pulse the mixture in 30-second intervals, scraping down the sides with a spatula between pulses, until the texture is thick, creamy, and smooth (about 3-5 minutes).
  4. If the mixture is too thick, add a tablespoon of cream and blend again. If too thin, add more frozen peach chunks and pulse to thicken.
  5. Spoon the mixture into a freezer-safe container and smooth the top with a spatula. Freeze for at least 1 hour to firm up or serve immediately for soft-serve style.
  6. Let the ice cream sit at room temperature for 5 minutes before scooping if frozen solid.

Notes

Keep ingredients cold to maintain texture. Pulse rather than blend continuously to avoid overheating. Use full-fat heavy cream for best creaminess. Vanilla extract enhances flavor but is optional. For dairy-free version, substitute heavy cream with full-fat coconut cream.
