A quick, fun, no-bake dessert perfect for dorm parties and Star Wars fans, featuring vibrant green lime jello topped with creamy vanilla pudding and Yoda ear decorations.

  • 1 package (3 oz / 85g) lime jello mix
  • 1 cup (240ml) boiling water
  • 1 cup (240ml) cold water
  • 1 package (3.4 oz / 96g) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups (480ml) cold milk (full-fat or 2%)
  • A few drops green food coloring
  • Miniature sugar cookies or graham crackers (for Yoda ears)
  • Optional: whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. Boil 1 cup (240ml) of water. Pour the boiling water into a mixing bowl and stir in the entire package of lime jello powder until completely dissolved, about 2 minutes.
  2. Stir in 1 cup (240ml) of cold water to cool the jello mixture.
  3. Evenly divide the jello mixture into cups, filling each about two-thirds full. Refrigerate for 1 to 1.5 hours until jello is set but still tacky on top.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and 2 cups (480ml) cold milk according to package instructions.
  5. Add a few drops of green food coloring to the pudding and stir until pale green. Let it sit for 5 minutes to thicken.
  6. Spoon or pipe the pudding evenly over the top of each jello cup once the jello is tacky.
  7. Cut miniature sugar cookies or graham crackers into small Yoda ear shapes and gently press two ears into the pudding on each cup.
  8. Chill the finished cups in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Do not pour pudding over jello until it is set and tacky to avoid mixing layers. Use fresh jello mix for best results. Cut ears before pudding sets. Use clear cups for best visual effect. Whisk pudding mix and milk thoroughly to avoid lumps. Optional whipped cream topping adds extra fluff.
