easy mimosa bar setup - featured image

A quick and simple no-cook mimosa bar setup that is perfect for last-minute brunch parties, featuring fresh juices, sparkling wine, and seasonal fruits for a customizable and festive experience.

Ingredients

  • Sparkling wine or Champagne (dry or semi-dry, e.g., Prosecco or Cava)
  • Fresh orange juice (freshly squeezed or good-quality store brand)
  • Other fruit juices such as cranberry, pineapple, or grapefruit juice
  • Fresh fruit slices and berries: orange wheels or wedges, hulled and halved strawberries, raspberries or blueberries, kiwis or pineapple chunks
  • Optional herbs and garnishes: fresh mint leaves, basil, or edible flowers
  • Ice cubes or frozen fruit to keep drinks chilled without dilution

Instructions

  1. Chill your sparkling wine and juices in the fridge for at least 10 minutes ahead if possible.
  2. Wash and slice fresh fruit: cut oranges into wheels or wedges, hull and halve strawberries, and arrange berries, kiwi, or pineapple chunks in serving bowls.
  3. Set up serving stations by placing pitchers or carafes with juices and sparkling wine on a counter or table. Place fruit bowls nearby with tongs for easy grabbing and add any herbs or edible flowers for garnish.
  4. Arrange champagne flutes or glasses next to the bar setup for guests to easily access.
  5. Optionally, prepare a bowl of ice or frozen fruit to keep drinks cold without watering them down.
  6. Invite guests to mix their own mimosas by combining juices, sparkling wine, and fruit as they like.

Notes

Chill sparkling wine and juices ahead of time for best bubbles. Use frozen fruit to keep drinks cold without dilution if you forget to chill. Limit juice options to 3-4 to avoid overwhelming guests. Pour sparkling wine gently over the back of a spoon to preserve bubbles. Keep napkins or small plates nearby to manage splashes.
